BO KRISTO is a contemporary clothing line, which idolizes the concept of black sheep. The brand encourages individuality, love, self-love, and diversity among its fans followers and customers. THE BIG IDEA

Idiomatic usage of the term black sheep suggests; to be a black sheep is to be different. Usually being different is the basis of being disapproved of in our society. However, History has countless examples of individuals from diverse backgrounds, areas of expertise, professions and so on who were ridiculed and even persecuted due to their different beliefs, ways of being, state of minds or ideologies. History has also preserved the fact that so many of those individuals had become pillars of their societies and builders of nations. At the very least; they have made a dent in global history. Among those individuals: Da Vinci Leonardo, Aristocles (Plato), Crist Jesus, Vincent van Gogh, Lincoln Abraham, Tesla Nikola, Gandhi Mahatma, MLK jr. and Jobs Steve to name a few. Their names have been immortalized; In many cases their legendary existence influenced billions over several centuries.

Through our lenses, to be a black sheep remains to be different. Being a blk Sheep is acknowledging and embracing our individual differences and allowing them to be our compass towards greatness. BO KRISTO, dubbed “THE BLK SHEEP BRAND” is inspired by the very idea that black sheeps are “out of the box” thinkers, creative, visionaries, truth seekers and challengers of the status quo… BO KRISTO is influenced by diverse cultures, habits, activities, ways of being, emotions and most of all everyday life; with the understanding that most of us at one point or another could relate to the ideologies of being or having been a black sheep.

WHAT’S IN THE NAME?

Just like an individual who proudly identifies as a black sheep; or someone who can relate to being a little “DIFFERENT” still uses their given and family name as displayed on their identification card or say a driver’s license, we wanted to name to our little lamb who was born with black fur. Therefore allowing the name to become synonymous to the concept; very much like some of our favorite characters and concepts depicted on the big screen. Namely: Clark Kent – Superman, James Bond – Secret Agent, Bruce Wayne – Batman, Tony Stark – Iron Man, –BO KRISTO – BLK SHEEP.
